I've only seen a few because the host is such an a$$clown. But I did watch your episode "on demand" and the racing was sick! I can't believe you saved a 69 then put it up to lose like that. But you won! Nice exposure.

Watched it tonight Blake, good job on the runs and the car was the nicest I've seen on Pinks so far. I never knew the races were that close and yes it was a good episode since both sides didn't bitch very much and were pretty fair with eachother.

That's how it should be done Blake. Not only did you guys do it professionaly you took a bad a$$ ride. Anyone can clean out the garage a throw something together. You represented what real custom shops can do.
Cheers!

Congratulations! I won't call it the best episode as I thought the two brothers from last year was the best. With that said, your episode was a close second. You both represented yourselves in a very professional manner. No bitching, just get the negotiation done and race. That is the way it should be. Killer Customs should all hold their heads up with absolute pride. What's to come of the Malibu?
Mark
BTW - The stance of the Camaro was incredible. That car set a ton!!

Whew...... Thanks guys. i have to say again that was the most intense thing i have ever done!!!
the reason his car fell off in the last race was fouled plugs, they brought the car with the KILLER hahahaha tune up (guess not) and when we negotiated only 5 psi of boost the fuel map was all wrong, they actually started to change the plugs between 4 and 5 and one of our guys caught it and they hadn't negotiated the change so they graciously put the old ones back in and as they say the rest is history.
i'm glad we could represent Canada and take a a cool ride at the same time.
once again thanks

I third that !!!
It is much better when there is real negotiations, not bitchin' and whining. Your episode was great. If they hadn't nosed over, do you think you would have won ? i.e. Were you running balls out every pass ? Both your team and the others acted very professional.

When we tested thecar 2 days prior to the race. it ran a best of 9.96 @ 132? it's been a while since i lookd at the slip.
what do i think would have happened if his car hadn't nosed over............ you want to know how many times i have wondered that my self. i think it would have been sooooooo close i really don't know, i think i left on him in the last race and i think most of the other runs he left on me a bit so we beat him at 1.25 lenghts. the car definatly hooked hard on the last run. i think it could have gone either way but it would have been really close. let me tell you i like fouled plugs:hail: cuz i really did not want to hand over the camaro.

Very cool Blake. People with your positive demeanor and killer car are why people want to watch a show like PINKS. Running the car hard each run knowing that the outcome could go either way - no BS. BTW, nice driving especially on the last run. Gotta love it when a couple of $2 parts ensured a win... Glad you could get the tranny leak under control too. Congrats again !

That Damn tranny leak. we made 15 runs the thursday before ( 5 of them in 18 mins) and not a drop. then first run pukes fluid out all over the place.

killer
that was the best PINKS show for two cars ,that ive seen yet.....
camaro looked great.love to see before pics of it
.im glad that nobody got into a huge pissing contest..
.tired of the yellinig drama....
we just wanna see great racing and see who outsmarts who

Say what you will about Pinks and Rich Christiansen but it has to be unnerving putting your ride on the line and those were two of the coolest ones on the show yet.
The new format is cool and I appreciate not having to wait through a commercial to see the outcome of each race! Blake and Brian really showed a lot of class and sportsmanship. Not all that yelling and "S" talking, just negotiating and seriously close racing. Hopefully future contestants follow their examples.
If they ever film at your home track, go check it out. It was quite the spectacle and you can definitely feel the drama and intensity.
Oh, and how nasty was the stance on Blake's Camaro?!?!

I dont know what taht tranlates to but you shouldbe very proud of yourselves that is a badass car. Where is the malibu?
Blake Foster
02-24-2007, 08:54 PM
Your not sure what the "i love fouled plugs" means? on the last run the malibu's plugs were fouled and he couldn't make enough power to catch me and there for.......... his car is sitting in my showroom at the shop.
oh and i am very proud......... mostly of the guys who put in the long hours to build this car so we could hopefully increase our business and our presence in the custom community and be an integral part of the hobbie that is soo cool, i can gaurentee there is no way this would have happened with out all the help from everyone.

Blake, it was a awesome show and the most professional one I have seen. It was also hands down the best "branded" car I have every seen, it got the word out about Killer, the shop and the website. Your associate sponsors should be proud of their exposure as well, especially Lordco.
Are you prepared ?
Just think.............West Coast Choppers and OCC started in the same kind of manner................
It's hella cool !
