I had these brackets made to mount the caliper, backing plate(for original parking brake) and also hold the axle in. I am using a 12 bolt housing w/ large ford bearing ends. I used a lokar cable kit. If this will work for you, let me know, they can make a set of brackets for you. As of right now, I don't believe anyone makes anything else for this situation, but by now, who knows, things change everyday in this hobby!

Hello Jeff!!

Great info again! I have been thinking same thing for a while. If you can please give more pics of brackets. What do you mean at those brackets hold axles in? Like holding bolts will go thru the axle housing bracket , bearing flange and the vette part and mounts all together ?

What mounting plates are you using? What rear are you bolting these to?

I've read on the pro-tourng forum, that the C6z rears will bolt up to the LS1 rear disc backing plates with just 2 simple mods. That should give you the ls1 rear disc style ebrake as well.

have you tried KORE 3? They offer a kit for 10/12 bolt rear for corvette rear brakes.

The LS1 backing plates will work, but you need a 0.7-0.71" spacer between the backing plate and axle flange for a stock GM rear. The next problem is where to mount the cable bracket.

Ouch! 2 grand!!!

I paid 1350$ if i remember correctly and from a (performance oriented) GM dealer at that and thats awhile ago too.... I did get the brakets from Kore3 tough, Tobin is a great guy and his stuff is top notch.
