Hi guys!
Sorry for this basic engine-question, but I donīt know the differences between short-blocks, long-blocks and turn key-engines.
I do understand what the turn key-engine means, but could you help me with the rest please?

I believe a short block is without heads and a long block is with heads.
But be careful some short blocks dont have cams in them.
Turn Key is ready to plug in and play! lol should come with intake, carb, dist.

Shortblock= Block, reciprocating assembly, cam, timing chain. Depending on the manufacturer, it may also include oilpan and timing cover.
Long block= All of the above, plus heads, pushrods, etc. Again, depending on the manufacturer it could also include the necessary tins as well.
