its a 64 I want some real good brakes but want them to clear a 15 inch wheel I dont want some 30 year old single piston stuff. I was thinking of running C5 calipers.
I am not afraid to spend some cash but not 1300 bux for some baers or something anyone got a good setup they used that wasnt super expensive?

x2. Noel offers excellent service, uses the same hardware as bear.. but he sells it cheaper and has a shorter lead time... 3 thumbs up:thumbsup:

800 bux is pretty expensive is there some kind of setup thats cheaper using C5 calipers?
I am on a tight budget and 800 dollars for brakes on a car I bought for 900 bux doesn't make sense to me right now.

i hear you!.. why not get a complete 98+ f-body setup from a junk yard/ebay. front and rear brakes?? shouldnt cost you more that a couple of hundred in good shape.

Although touring classics brakes are a great deal they are just too expensive right now since my car has so many other problems. I was thinking of doing that same thing with the camaro brakes. or I may just buy one of those cheap disc swaps with the crappy single piston calipers and swap some C5 ones on later.
