Just surfing the net earlier this week and I found the website to yet another 1st Gen Camaro Subframe.
http://www.speedtech-performance.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=129/prd129.htm
Anybody have any experience with Speed Tech? Have any news concerning the subframe that is in development?

It does look very nice, hopefully the price is right. Also it looks like it uses stock suspension components.

uhhhh........ya! Not all A/M sunframes use vette arms. Speedtech sells upr and lwr control arms for the first gen so it would only make since that incorporate there parts.

That subframe is a long way from finished. They are buried filling orders for their present line of products right now. When it does come out I am sure it will be a nice piece. I know there goal is to have a quality piece at a attractive price.
Right now I am selling Art Morrison as I think they have best bang for the buck right now, and quite honesyly might be hard to beat.

Might be a nice subframe, but their customer service is pathetic at best.

That is cool news, they are local to me so I could probably see this thing first hand.

if the price is right, i can see this being a big seller. i know i would definently buy one. i really like the fact that ill be able to use most of the suspension and brake components i already have.
hopefully ill be hearing more about this thing.

Stay tuned. We will get a heads up as soon as this is ready. And I agree, it may the perfect solution for someone already having a modded frame.

If I were you I would not expect it anytime soon. Its looking like quite a while. As I said, they are focusing on demand for their current products right now, not R and D on new products.
