Will a SBF header fit an LS2???

I thought I heard somewhere that a Small Ford header would
Fit an LS motor??? Is this True?

it isnt... but it would surely be a cheap starting point if one wanted to weld up a header using a cheap SBF header and some cheap LSx flanges...

take a pair of these perhaps

add a welder, and apply heat...

this should work with other headers.. and the port spacing might require some tweaking. but it will save a LOT of work

hmmmm I thought it was. Thanks for the link for the flandges. I was looking for some I think Im going to make my own headers.
With the front clip I have You have to buy their headers and well they dont make a LS head.
so I think Im going to take my Small Block ones and use those flandes and cut them up!

I have seen a few guys using SBF shorties on the LS1. They looked like they didn't need much modifications at all other then swapping the flange out which doesn't require much. I'm sure an exhaust shop could swap the flanges out.

like i said... they dont fit, but are a cheap starting point.. and hence the link to the flanges and headers on ebay... twin turbo SBF's for that matter

Talking to another Corvette owner, He was able to use the Hooker side exhaust [sbc] on his Ls engine by using the available Ls flanges. Two tubes line right up on each side, the other 2 need to be moved. Not too big a deal for an exhaust shop.
