I had an idea for this forum that I thought could be cool. Installation section where guys can document w/ pictures and videos the installation of various products. Even some of the vendors could get involved by adding pics for installations.
For instance, the information could photo document various panel replacements on cars, or "how to assemble or build a misc. part" or "wiring a 69 camaro with an autowire harness"
I don't know?? Maybe that would defeat some of the purpose for the main forums. Just a thought I had!
:lateral: Moderators and members your thoughts on this??

I think that's a great idea, Andrew. We have a few articles like that that you can find on the homepage, and more would be better. Chris Fesler will be supplying tech stories thoughout the year, Mark asked if I'd be interested in his LS7 swap article, so we have a few lined up. With that said, the more the better. If anyone would like to contribute, I'd be more than happy to get it on the site.

I have a good one on "How To" double both the expected completion time and budget for your project. Most could probably relate to this I am sure

A Project Cost worksheet (in Excel ?) that people can continue to modify and post back up. I found that very helpfull when I started my project - I found a link on Lat-G to another persons personal project site - and he posted the entire spreadsheet. It provided real prices for parts and services that really helped. I used that as a baseline and added/deleted my specifics.

The plan is have a spreadsheet for the build cost of S-curve. Jeff is just getting started with the project, so it may be a bit before that will be ready to be posted.

i think we should broaden the topic alittle and call it somthing like "knowledge base" "in the know" "stickyworthy" or simmilar just somwhere a good post or thread can be moved by a moderator and be accessible and katalogued..
users could possibly submit articles.. call it : co-lateral ??

Hey Scott,
I can throw something like this together for you on some cars we have done, we follow every little part in QB so we have it all the time, labor and cost. let me know and we can work something up.
