Hello, just thought I would let everyone know that my father will be on the Apprentice TV show on NBC tomorrow night, Feb. 11th. If you don’t know anything about the show they pick a specific company to be highlighted during the episode and take one of their products to market. During the show two teams compete to see who can advertise, sell or highlight the company product the best. At the end of the episode the losing team goes in front of Donald Trump in the “Board Room” and someone gets fired or kicked off the show.

Any way tomorrow nights show is all about Sue Bee Honey. My dad, Jim Powell, Vice President of Sue Bee went out earlier this year to California to tape the episode. I don’t know how much he will be in it but I’m very proud of him and though it was something cool to share.

That is cool!

My wife and I usually watch it from our TiVo list later in the week.

Yeah, I though it was pretty cool. I asked him if he knew what all happened in the episode and he told me he would have to "kill me" after he told me :-). I guess there is a huge fine (in millions) if any of the show information leaks out before it airs :-)

later,
Chris

Thats great! You Dad must be proud! Can I ask how they pick who is going to be on the show? Did he apply for something or did they seek him our?

Great Honor either way.

Tim

The Apprentice actually called them and said they would like to have them on the show. I'm not sure of all the contract details but, I honestly think because my Dad has been really selling the brand lately and trying to get it to be more of a well known name brand they were a little more desirable. They also for the past 3 years have sponsored NASCAR. This year Sue bee signed a new contract with Petty Racing So, Kyle Petty, Richard Petty and Bobby Labonte. I also think that helped alot.

talk to you later,
