Sorry if this is a repost. I thought it was pretty kool. Says it's the first LSX block and heads. [454]

I wish they were planning on making that engine with the aditional head bolts in aluminum. Cool engine, but I would prefer the lighter weight. Because of weight I will most likely go with an ls2

Yeah it's a kick-ass car, of course. But I find it a little funny how that Lead Engineer talks like it is a one-of-a-kind car with all the aftermarket parts on it that a lot of the kick-ass cars on this forum are using. It doesn't sound very unique to me.

Not talking smack about the car - I like it, but the guy describing it seemed to think it is the best 69 Camaro on the planet.

Our Warhawk block and heads shipped yesterday. We can't wait. Aluminum, lightweight, extra head bolts, 12 degree LS7 heads, AhhhhH!

They sure are very proud of that car.

I liked the comment: "...So staying true to the 69 camaro, it's 454 cubic inches?" and the GM guy says: "Yeah, absolutely..."

And he goes on to mention that all the panel gaps are 3mm, and that the bumper clearances are "3 mils".

Wow, that's a mighty tight tolerance, for a bumper... .003" :)

LOL, I asked one of the GM Performance guys at PRI why they painted the fender bolts red? He said Reggie is a purisit at heart and wanted the car to look original, LOL! I guess he did not know only econo bake paints the fender bolts!

Jon, that wouldn't surprise me in the least based on how inflated their price probably was for this "one of a kind" supercar. ;)

To All:

Look at the Brake section. It says, "ABS!!!" Now how did they get this on there? We had a discussion a while back that ABS would be almost impossible to put on our cars.

Thoughts or Comments??

Thanks,

tyoneal

i think abs systems are stand alone, they do not operate thru the computer thus as long as you get the complete systems you can do it, i would like to know more also

My abs install has not been road tested yet but its showing readings from all 4 wheel sensors now, plumbing is done as well.

I am using 4th gen 4 channel stuff.

I intend to post further info when I get my car on the road finally.

I do see many dse parts on the car, but I don't see an ABS module. You would not need an andjustable prop valve with modern (last 5 years) ABS, and this car has one.
