Hi guys,
I love two piece billet and three piece forged wheels as much as the next guy, but I know alot of you still love the American Racing Torq Thrust. I was just looking through our new American Racing catalogs and stumbled upon this wheel called the TorqLite. Not a bad wheel. And it comes polished and painted. Just a simple 5 spoke. What do you all think?

Not bad, but I think it looks like an 80s Pro Street wheel... if you are into that sorta thing, then great.

that looks alot
like the weld pro stars that were on every pro-street.or muscle car for a while so it seemed .....humm
they must have sold in the hundreds of thousands....
ARE THEY LOW PRICE WHEEL?? i think they would have to sell from a low price idea .. BECAUSE I THINK MOST WOULD SAY THE WHEEL IS OUTA STYLE....
liked em just everyone had them .......even me at one time
seems theyare trying to marry them to the torq thrust name though.torq lite??.not in the same league in my opinion....torq thrust are timeless...

i think they are prety cool actually, depending on size of course... but they would look right at home on a 2. gen camaro, or mabe even on a an 80 malibu... hmmmm:D

Maybe that's why I kinda like them, I have two 2nd gen projects right now! 70 Camaro, and a 76 T/A forumla 400.

I Have These On My 85 T Type And Looks Really Nice. Most Of My Buddies That Own A Gn Or Ttype Constantly Hound Me To Sell It To Them But I'm Going To Hold On To Them, It Works For Me. These Do Resemble Those Of Welds.

They look like the wheels on phr's g/28 76 camaro. But they painted them. And looked good.

Holy old post Batman!

Since the start of this thread, we haven't stocked this wheel in a LONG time. I think it was Summit that bought the remaining stock of this wheel...
