So, what do your guys think were the "best deals" of BJ this year?
Now I'm not talking about stuff like the "Last Stingray" that went for $650K, but bargains the average guy could afford (ie, less than $30K)
I heard there were quite a few cars that sold for under $25K..
What do you guys think? Oh, does anyone that went have a catalog with all the sales prices listed?

I really liked these two cars for someting different and seemed like decent deals:
PT 71 Buick GSX Clone for $37K: http://www.barrett-jackson.com/carlist/cardetails.asp?In_AuctionID=221&In_LotNumber=430.1
PT Olds that sold for $45K : http://www.barrett-jackson.com/carlist/cardetails.asp?In_AuctionID=221&In_LotNumber=458

On Tuesday there was a 65 or 6 Mustang coupe on Speed that went dirt cheap and looked like a real nice driver for mid teens if I remember right.

Hmm.. maybe I could do a third catagory, mid priced cars. What I really need are "cheap" examples.
Hey, I could do the Pearl Cyclone.. that was a deal for the ultimate PT car..

Was that car at BJ? I remember his excessive self promoting on PT.com. What did it bring?

I bid this one to 45k and I'm still kicking myself as to not just ending it at 50k.
http://www.barrett-jackson.com/carlist/cardetails.asp?In_AuctionID=221&In_LotNumber=930.2
The one before it was just as nice.

I'm still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on the black one though. It was beautiful. In fact both were beautiful.

I think I can safely say I bought more cars at Barrett-Jackson this year than anyone else. I bought 116 Corvettes....Top that...

Damn dude.. that car is so worth $50k... is that what it went for?
I know I would get carried away with the bidding. I'm stubborn like that.

It was worth more then that. Both cars had perfect paint jobs and no rust that the eye could see. You never know till you get into it, but both cars were killer. And both would be worth more after a few nice touches. It was my first auction, so I had a bit of the "should I shouldn't I" syndrome, but I now think I made the wrong choice on the black one. Even the wife says I should have done it. But there is always next year.

If it makes you feel any better....You don't know how far the other bidder would have gone. Just because you quit bidding and he won doesn't mean he was gonna quit soon.

The 68 Yenko Camaro for 170K plus fees was a good buy, IMO. Friend Colin bought it.
