Im putting a bigger motor in the deuce and looking around at some crate motors.

Small Block chevys
Found a couple on ebay and wanted to see what you guys thought. They seem kinda cheap?

Who have you guys got your stuff from?

I build my own. period. You own a shop so you probably can't devote the time to building your own engines on top of all else you do. I use a machinist that I trust and that I can call on if something goes belly up. Seems to me that the closer you are to the seller the better off you are. I am not saying in any way that these motors are crap, but, nuke one at initial start up and see if they "back it up", if you catch my drift.
