If we do go out of stock here at GMP we can direct you to a dealer that may have them in stock. Todd at www.diecastmusclecars.com has always been helpful for me and I believe he is a member here.

Man.... You mean I gotta get ANOTHER ONE?!?!?!?! I need to add another shelf for my collection. And I just hope that when I get this one, the fool that sells it to me doesn't break the mirror off like the last one I got. Still trying to figure out how to fix that one.

I may have to pick one up myself even though I am not a fan of the Grand Sport slashes on the one fender.

Can't wait to add this one to my collection too. Good to see a pair of hairdryers hiding under the hood.

Is this the car that came out of the "Tell 'em how to build it" thread? Thought that one was based off a '68, but it kind of went MIA.

No, that one is a different one. I have a pre-build unit to review and it's damn cool. I'll have more news on that in the coming months.

Is there any way we could get a sneek peek? A couple month's is like torture.:D

Sorry, I wish I could, but GMP specifically asked that it stay out of public view until it's ready for pre-orders.

I approved the colors, stripe package and logos. Good stuff.

Round wheels and paint color that is tinted to refract to the color that the paint doesn't absorb.

Pictures DO NOT do the new GMP Twin Turbo LS2 69 Camaro justice. It's amazing. GMP is completely sold out, so if anyone who wants one that didn't pre-order, you'll have to go to a GMP dealer, such as DiecastMusclecars.com (http://www.diecastmusclecars.com/)

looks great. And as Scott said, they look even better in person, the camera never catches the paint and detail correctly.

Any release date on some sneak peeks? Gotta create some drama about this thing or only the 3 of us are gonna remember it by August. C'mon, we just want a lil peek. :D

Will this be marketed mainly here or will it be distributed as a normal GMP release? Any details on the production run?

Sonoma, it's just my guess (and wishful thinking), but as long as it's taken and as hush hush as this particular GMP release has been, I'm thinking there HAS to be a suprise or two other than what was in the poll. Don't you?

sonoma01

Hopefully your wishful thinking is right. I wish the suprise would be revealed though.

We've begged. A simple repaint and wheel attachment would be a little dissappointing at this point in the game for the wait. I'm not going to complain too much, cuz I know it's a '68 Street Fighter, so that pretty much guarantees it a spot in my collection.

Any pictures yet Scott? August is coming up quick.:) I hope you have a nice suprise for us. I know the box art will look good if John is working on it. On another note, John needs to offer copies of some of his renderings for sale.

Well, about the box art... it wasn't my idea, GMP came up with the concept. I'm guessing it will be public soon...

Good question on being able to buy prints of John's renderings. I'd LOVE to have some of them hanging on my wall. I'll have to talk to him about that and see if that's something that he wants to pursue, but I'm sure the owners would have to be involved, too.

I have thought about doing posters of some of my work. Scott and I have talked about some ideas together as well. Right now I've been pretty busy getting moved into the new house so things are crazy. I have been thinkin' about this for awhile. I will have Midnite Octane gear and shwag to sell including key rings, shirts and hats as well.

Hope to see the website updated soon John. Moving is a pain in the a**. I would really like multiple different prints when you get them made, my walls are looking empty. So, could you slip us a picture of the newest Streetfighter while we are waiting. :D Also, at your next weekly GMP meeting persuade Mark and Tom to give Hemi X and Hammer their approval in 1/18.
