Does a 4l80e fit in a 70 Chevelle?

I'm sure someone has already done this. Does it fit without modifying the trans tunnel?

does require some notching in a 64, not sure about a 70.

Do a search over at Car Craft. They put one into their cheap street chevelle project years ago, and IIRC they did have to modify the trans tunnel.
