They are AWESOME! And their lightweight should offset the weight of the C6 rotors.....LOL!

Good looking rims, I'm sure the wife loved having them on the table. Poor kid had to stare at them while eating cereal. :D

:)
They we're the ones who popped the boxes opened (my 4 year old saw the UPS truck arrive and said; "Daddy!! The new Camaro wheels are arriving!") So i figure its not too painfull when you have such a marked interest...

...And if you look closely, you'll see there is a glass on that table. I told said wife when i bought the table set; "Its to protect it from the kids"....Just didn't specify which!

This is what they say;
RIMS---What has made Forgeline wheels different from other brands are the rims. Forgeline is the only manufacturer that used 6061 T6 aluminum in their rim shells. Everyone else uses 5000-series which is not heat treated, and not as strong. Over the last year, a couple of the other high end manufactures started switching over to 6061, however most still use non heat treated aluminum.
CENTER---Every Forgeline wheel features a true forged center. This process creates directional grain flow, virtually no porosity and is ultimately the strongest aluminum possible. What does this mean to you? Each and every Forgeline wheel consistently delivers the highest strength, quality and performance in a styled and lightweight package for your specific application.
It doesn't sound too bad. Doesn't it?
:)
Thanks for the compliments guy's! Its been a long wait but definetely worth it!
I already have my tires for the rear (345-25 20--Wheel is 20 x 13") but am still unsure what to run in the front. I'm almost positive a 245 fits nicely (fronts are 19x8.5) and talked to a local Pirelli (I'm running P-Zero Assimetrio's) about the possibility of trying a few diff sizes and he said we'd check, looks like i found the good guy, his bro is the General director for Pirelli Montreal!!! I'd like to make sure i run the fattest i can, 255 would be nice.
Well see!

I almost went with black centers and DEFINETELY don't regret it! Their Gunmetal is Killer!

Looks like non of the dreaded brake clearance issues everyone is affraid of. Cause Forgeline sells a lot of wheels to the ZO6 market.
Glad thay got there OK.
Let me know what you think of those mini tub top braces when you get them on. We just did a Pro Street convertible here that had HUGE tubs, and we can fold the top all the way down now.

^^^^ ^
Yean, taste's good tough, you should try!
The only thing i might have done differently while thinking back since i got 'em is i might have had the inner rim coated too, i'm sure it would be easier to keep clean. I might try and polish 'em if i have time before summer or maybe paint them semi flat black or something...Ideas?
Todd, i already have decided on my tires. I have 345-25-20 Pirelli P-Zero Assimetrico's for the rear and am working with a Big Pirelli dealer (Cool guy) on fitting the biggest front. I think on my 19x8.5 W/5.2 bs i should be good for 245 minimum... I would like to test fit a 255 and a 265 to see. But am not sure at all where that will put me.
Wanting to run the car LOW doesn't help either.
Tracy, is your front clip on by now? What size are you running in the front? 18's no? I really liked yours too (Steve was the other inspiration) for the color! They are really nice and finish is unbelievable.
Thanks for the props guy's!
I should get the tires mounted on thursday (had a hickup this week end and can't take em with me before then)

I thought about going with the spilt 5 spokes on a 67 camaro. Not sure if i'm gonna be able to swing it though, I have the money for them just not sure if I want to spend that much on them when the money would be better spent finishing other stuff on the car. Keep us updated on your build though man, I love it so far.
