Two runs only. Track was super busy coupled with a crash and several blown engines to slow things down.

Specs:

69 Camaro www.mcspeed.com
2000 LS1
SLP Stage III head/cam/LS6 intake/36# injectors
Long tube headers
TCI 2,900 stall
Transgo shift kit
9" with 3.5 gears
285-40-18 Goodyear EMT Runflats out back
VB&P fiberglass rear springs
Edelbrock shocks
7/8" sway bar
Car has full accessories - a/c, power windows...etc. etc. etc.

First run:

60' 2.092
1/8 8.236 89.13 mph
1/4 12.7 109.52 mph

Second run:

60' 2.070
1/8 8.121
1/4 12.539 110.74 mph

This on a full tank of gas which I figured would help with traction since I have a 22 gal plastic caprice tank fused in there that addes plenty of weight on the axle. My 60' stinks...but that is because I just rolled up in D3, rolled out on the green, then eased into it. I assume higher mph and ET (with traction) if I had sincerly launched the car. I just left it in D3 and let the computer shift.

If I could just squeeze that 60' down to 1.8 and hold it manually through red line...I think a 12.0 is not unreasonable!

The best part was leaving the track, rolling up the window, cranking down the a/c (it was over 80 degrees in Orlando this last Sunday), and cruising home with the stereo blasting, air pumping...and cruise control locked down.

Nice. Any wheelhop problems? What springs are you running out back?

Hey Frank...It was one of those last minute things. I'll call you next time.

Springs are just VB&P mono glass models. No wheel hop at all.

I also have not launched it really hard either. If I cam off the line over 2,000 RPM, I would be surprised.

Cool, Chris. I agree, a 12.0 should be within reach with a good 60'.

Have you weighed the car?

Nice runs and nice setup!.

I have heard the EMT's are hard like a rock. I have no experience with them, but the Vette guys seem to dislike them from a performance standpoint.

I bit stickier tire could really pick up the 60' times, too.

Good luck!

Nice runs, I say throw a drag radial on there and watch those times drop!
