Amazing what these cars are going for. Wish I had the magic "way back" machine...

Also stated that it would take 100k to make it a 2mill car. I think it would take a lot more then that considering the shape it's in.

:wow: Buy now for $1.05m. That is crazy, but it is possible he will get what he is asking though. This 'Cuda (http://vintagecars.about.com/od/historygreatmoments/ss/hemicuda_rw.htm) (Another link) (http://www.randworkman.com/featured_event/auction/details.php?id=119) went for $4.1m, it is in considerably better shape, has a 10th of the miles, and is much more rare than that one, but somebody may think they can get the same out of this one after "a little" more investment  .

Bob's is definitely a bargain by comparison  . Actually I just added it to my collection. I ran across one of the Hot Wheels G-Machines 1:24 toys at Wal-mart and I had to have it ;) .

The 4.1 mil Cuda did not sell. The auction disclosed that they could bid on behalf of the owner up to the owners reserve. Basically they bid it up to the reserve and then hoped for a bidder...

Yeah that's what we need, another Boydster.

Thats why I never get to excited when people ask crazy money for things. There seems to always be something else left out...

Is it just me, or does it look like a lot of wear on the pedals, steering wheel, and pistol grip for a 70k mile car? :_paranoid

Nice trailer hitch, too. That had to be a great tow vehicle!

Man, what a car. I love the color and drivetrain combo. :hail: The price is little out of reach, though. :wow:

Where was it stored... on the bottom of a lake?
