Hi I was thinking of using a 2000 Camaro dash in my 68 camaro.
Now my question is what to do about the ignition and wiper switches, can someone make a column with the things I need on it or can I adapt a 69 column
or can I use a 2000 column.

need help please

first of all, wellcome as a senior member! the first answer would be that you could adapt the 2000 column, there really isnt anything magic about steering columns, all youd have to do would be to weld an appropriate splined end from an older GM to the end of the 2000 unit... once you take it appart the task really isnt that daunting..

we (over here) usually use old toyota coloumns on hot rods because they have all switch functions on them, and no switches in the dash..

Hey Deuce tanks for the info, I don't have the parts right now but it don't sound to bad to figure out when they come.
I am mostly looking for some new ideas:)

Did you get my email???

I used firebird dash and column along with entire firebird body and engine harness. It all just plugs in
