New for 2007 is the Chicane-LM front suspension kit for your 67-69 F body/68-74 X body car. This complete front end kit includes all the needed parts to take your vehicle up to the highest level of performance available on a factory subframe. This system is a fully daily-driveable suspension kit with front end geometry that surpasses $7K aftermarket subframes and is totally adjustable for competition use. We offer the ONLY weld in coil over kit on the market that is adjustable in car with optional rebound and compression adjustments when used with Penske shocks.

The Chicane-LM kit includes the following items:
AFX tall spindles with hubs
Global West tubular upper control arms with Del-a-lum bushings
Global West tubular lower control arms for use with coil overs, and del-a-lum bushings
ATS 12.7:1 steering box
Rag joint for column to box connection
Moog P/S pitman arm
Moog Idler arm
Moog inner tie rods (pair)
Baer adjustable Tracker bumsteer outer tie rod ends with adjusting sleeves
ATS grade 8 front end hardware kit
Global West solid subframe body mounts
Hotchkis 1-1/8" sway bar (ATS Spline-Tune rate adjustable bar coming soon)
ATS Chicane-LM weld in coil over brackets for factory subframe
coil over shock assemblies (Your choice of aluminum Bilsteins, or for an extra $1000 - fully adjustable remote reservoir Penskes)
Hyperco coil springs (available in 25 lb increments)

The retail pricing on this complete kit is $4500 plus shipping, but we are offering the kit to Pro-Touring/Lateral-G members for $4200. This setup is similar to what Mark Stielow is running on his Camaro X, and is the exact setup that Jim Shipka is running on his 67 One Lap Camaro ( www.onelapcamaro.com ).
This setup has the lowest bumpsteer curve on the market, with the best increased camber gain ever offered (.7 degrees for every inch of suspension travel) You can read about all the specs in this thread:

How about possibly a modified version of the above? I would need:

-AFX spindle
-Baer adj. Tracker tie rod ends w/ adjustable sleeves
-Sway bar
-Chicane weld in brackets
-Grade 8 hardware
-Bilstein shocks
-Coil springs

Just an idea on price.

We can add or delete any item you want, but we bundled it together for ease of ordering.

Also what are the advantages of the Bilstens versus the QA1s?

The Chicane-LM set up absolutely ROCKS! I can not say enough good things about the package and about Tyler and the guys at American Touring Specialties. This is truly an engineered solution to take advantage of a 'stock' subframe layout.

Tyler means that you don't have to remove the coilover from the subframe to adjust ride height. Ride height can be dialed in while the coilover is still bolted in.

How much ride height adjustment is there? I don't want to have the perfect stance and have it bottom out. Tires on front would be 245/40/18 or around this spec.

You cant adjust ride height in the car, you can adjust the valves in the shocks. If you look up the shocks I am sure there is plenty of info.

By "in car" he means that the shock assemblies stay in the chassis for adjustment and that they do not have to be pulled out of the car to make an adjustment, unlike some other offerings currently on the market. Its a quick and simple adjustment without having to disassembly the front end to actually do it.

Or... if you you really want it "inside the car" adjustable, please call ATS for a quote. Anything can be accomplished... just dont act surprised when you see 5 zeros on the end price.

Speed is just a question of money, who fast do you want to go... :lol:
