I'm looking to mini tub my 66 mustang, but it seems i'm probably going to need to cut the frame rails and move them inward for room. I'm looking to run a lateral dynamics 3 link setup. Anyone ever done something like this? Is it possible?

Totally!!! Why don't you talk to Mark Magers at Lateral Dynamics? He can tell you what you need to do or they can probably do it for you!

I did something similar to that with my 63 Nova. I used competition engineering replacement rails instead of reusing the stockers though. Looking back now I wish I would have kept the stock rails for simplicity. My car is light so I could have just mini-tubbed it and ran a 10" wheel and been just fine.
Check my sig, there are pics of it in that thread.

Mark and I have discussed something like this on a couple of occasions. I think that if you give him a call he can lead you in the right direction. You definately will not be dissappointed with the Lateral Dynamics 3-Link.
Good Luck
