I got rid of the 97 Z28 and 93 mustang. Picked up an 84 Grand national. Also got a greddy t-78 turbo extra with it.
I plan to just restore the outside and concentrate on power and handling.
Unsure on this just up in air plans.......
Box frame
Notch rear rails to fit at least a 295mm wide tire in rear
All poly body mounts
Ats front spindle
Wolfecraft adjustable front control arms
large vette brakes modified to fit on all fours
17 or 18 inch wheels
modified eng to 500 hp range

I am working on a similar project at the moment. I have the body off the frame and I am about done with the frame mods. Boxed, notched, Coil-over mounts front and rear ect. You can see most of my posts on PRO-Touring.com.

Some comparable cars. I couldnt upload mine as camera takes too large a pic file. I will take another pic later with the old camera. Ls2 looks real enticing in the new gmhttp mag........This will be a slow project though. Check out this 6.0 ls engine turbo mock up in a regal pic.

you really need to call Marcus at SC&C (number in the vendor list on tle left of your screen) He knows more about G-Body handling than anyone.. he can hook you up with what ever you need, at any budget, from tall balljoints and bushings to a complete G5/afx setup
there are guys that keep up with and outrun viper gts's with big power g-bodys and G5 suspension..
he used to post on www.ssmonte.com do a search there on posts by marcus, there are pictures of some of the chassis braces he used to make (but stopped making because he apparantly felt that it was too simple to make and felt bad sellig them.. they work awesome though).. they are easy one afternoon jobs to make but eliminate most of the g-body squeaks... (I almost named my project "rattle and hum" for that very reason btw)

Hey guys thanks for the compliments !!!
I love that car ,, I found it for sale here locally from a friend of mine ,, its got 19,000 origional miles and doesnt get driven much ,,, too bad since I really love it..
The wheels are cheap Eagle 212's 18x8 4.5 inch backspace .. front tires are 235 40 18 and the rears are 245 40 18 ,, I will be trying some wider wheels ,, I've seen a couple with 25's or 285's in the wheel well ,, hopefully it will fit !!
Thanks again
Jon
