Never would have guessed it in a million years. I was thinking 3800 at best. I talked to a friend today and he said it would be low. "it's a big car but most of it is empty space"
I guess he was right...
1940 lbs on the front axle
1520 lbs on the rear axle
3460 total weight
I asked the place how accurate thier scale is and they said it's certified to be within +/- 20 lbs.
Looks like going fast just got easier.. lol
Oh, and this was with the new tires/wheels/hood etc.

im like you id figure 3800-4000...

Yep...reminds me of my 1986 Monte SS...Big, but really not heavy, I think 3450 it was.

Yeah.....everybody thinks my cars weight is 4000 but, I got mine down to 3240.

I wonder what Penny weighs considering the sub frame, light ls2, manual brakes, no ac, etc etc.

than I would have thought as well, but everyone thinks 55-57 chevys weigh a lot and they normally come in around 3200. Must be the big flat pannels on those and your Ford.

Well she was 3420 before I started and had the big block, TH400, GearVendors and Dana 60.
I am hoping under 3100... (fingers crossed)
