If you're looking for a Gen III engine to build, we've worked with the people at Bill Smith Auto Parts and had good experiences and low prices on stuff. They run several salvage yards in IL and ship all over the country. We discovered them in an eBay store search, and I just noticed they have more Gen III engines up for sale. Their inventory seems to change fairly often. And no, we're not getting a kick-back, we just wanted to share a good deal, 'cause we already got one!
