Just got word that my Chevelle made the cut to be on TLC's hour-long SEMA special tonight at 8. The show is called SEMA: Inside the World's Greatest Car Show.

Should be a cool program. Check it out!

Yea that was cool. LS7 looked great in the Chevelle. Did you guys notice the quick shot of SW's engine durring the drifting feature. It said people had to get more power from there american cars for drifting and then showed SW's engine compartment. I thought that was funny since I dought SW is into drifting.

They showed my engine bay as well during that time and I'm definitely not drifting.

They definitely didn't spend enough time on the cars. I have to try and get down there again next year; it is the ultimate car show.

The SEMA Overhaulin was pretty cool too. That is one of the nicer rides they have done. Personally I would of got a real HEMI for it instead of the new production version.

I missed the show, had kid stuff going on. But it sounds like I didn't miss much? What's up with the drifting? Did they spend a lot of time covering that?

Yeah there was about the last 15 minutes on drifting, with 5 minutes each for the "dub", and 5 minutes for the bay motors.

Craig got a little air time for his Corvette, and the Full Ride Chevelle got a couple minutes.

That left very few minutes for the other cars in the show. I little dissapointing.

The Morrison Corvette is a beautiful car. They spent way too much time on drifting.

I missed it, but they showed SW's '69 quite a few times very quickly. Saw Craig & the Morrison Vette, Bob's Cuda and a few minute feature on the Optima full ride Chevelle. They even showed the Obsidean Mustang for a minute or so.

Edit: Also saw Hotrods '66 Mustang Rosie for a flash. Really cool to see the local talent.

Congrats guys, great to see Lateral-G representing at SEMA & on TV

they usually rebroadcast Overhaulin' on Thursdays. They may do it with that. The show was good. It kept my attention.

Got to see most of the show, would like to see it start to finish w/o interuptions. All the cars looked great, could have left out the drifting segment for my taste.

Hello all who can't get enough SEMA stuff,

The second V8TV SEMA episode is on the air for the next 2 weeks, we do a 5 minute feature on the Ring Reactor Mustang, several manufacturer interviews, and a piece on Bob Delia's '59 Impala Ridler contender from 2006.

The next episode in 2 weeks is the whole paint process on the Royal Sport Camaro, from block sanding the first prime coats after the filler to buffing.
