You have a great site. :hail:

I have joined a few months ago (Sept) and fortunately within the first month won the billet hubs from Speed tech. Thanks to Speed Tech, and Todd, I have received the hubs.

Anyway, to the car, I am building a 1970 Velle with a 454 topped with a 177 BBC B&M blower. The car just came out of the paint shop a few months ago sporting a GM Dark Grey Metallic base and spiral silver stripes. The front is dropped 3in. via dropped springs and 1 1/2in. in the rear. I am looking to go with a 225/50/15 on the front (15x8 rim) and a 295/50/15 on the rear (15x10). I am staying with the period correct rally rims because I like them. It will still give that nostalgic look. The interior will stay original also, black vinyl. I will post pictures when I get a chance.

Welcome. Let's see it. have you thought about Wheel Vintiques to get a period correct look wheel that can is big enough to fit some real brakes.

Hi and welcome aboard. We have to stay together because we here are a minority. Lots of f bodies and due to that they seem to have a hold on the aftermarket.. I always loved them like most , but my choice has always been a "grown ups car"..... Only kidding. really though welcome and lets see those pictures... phil

That color rules on the 70 Chevelle.....got to keep the car clean at all times, though or else the dust mutes the metallic and it looks like dark, dull grey instead. Ask me how I know.... :) Well, mines Ford's version of the color but it's close in pigment, with little more gold. Love to see your stripes....please post some pics up when you get a chance.
