Congrats all around to the sponsors, administrators, and especially to Scott!
The site has really helped our hobby in many ways and my wife always tells me, "Let me guess, you're on Lateral-g.net"
To which I reply,

Thanks for putting together such a cool site, I cann't believe the info I can find in these threads.
A little history for those that may not know.
I setup a freeware bulletin board in July of 04 for the fun of it. It was ok, but it certainly wasn't very powerful. We started to gain momentum (over 200 members! lol), so I decided to switch to vBulletin. I messed around for a month or more trying to import the database, but I just couldn't get it to work correctly as some of the fields would always get messed up. So on November 24th, 2004, I pulled the trigger and started over from scratch - back to zero members. That was just over 2 years ago, and now we have over 3000 members. It's just crazy.
I never thought the site would be like this, grow this fast, get this big and be seen by so many people in so many different countries. It started out as just a place to host some pictures of a few friend's cars. In the very beginning, I was hosting the site on the free 10mb of space that is included with my cable ISP and I was using MS Word to make the crude webpages. It has come a looong way in a short time. We now regularly see a half million hits per day and the week following SEMA, we flirted with a million hits per day.
This site would be nothing if it weren't for all the great members we have. The most rewarding part about running this site is all the friendships that I've made over the last 2 years.
We've had our share of growing pains, but all in all, it's been worth it.
Thanks again! :captain:

I'll second that motion, THANK YOU Very Much Scott, for the great site! :hail:
Congrats Scott!!!
I remember the 10MB small site, I think I constituted about 75% of your hits! I checked it out all the time for new pics and it was right when I got my car and decided Red/White was the way too go!
Thanks for sticking with it! The past couple months of web work has only made me understand more the type of effort needed to keep this place going!

Second that, Second that, Second that, Scott you rule. I think I have some serious issues with the fact that I go to this site when I get home from work before I see the wife and kids. keep it up brother, as I know you will. :captain:
