Just received my copy of Super Chevy and wanted to throw some props to the crew at Prodigy Customs. Super Chevy did a nice layout on the Camaro.
Congrats..Looks great

Also saw a very familiar 73 Camaro on Page 30, congrats to Jason Wyrick as well.

Oh, but it got edited heavily. Like all the Project Prodigy, Prodigy Customs, ProdigyCustoms.com, references, it does not even say Orlando, Fl. So it would make it hard for anyone to find us. I did get one very creative potential customer that found the Prodigy Customs on the valve covers, yahoo the name, find the web site, and call about a build. But I suspect most are no that creative.

That is OK, I do not want to look a gift horse in the mouth. The pictures came out killer, the sponsors all got props, and Michael got his first car in a great magazine. So we are pretty damn happy, and I am pretty damn proud of Michael.

And now 13 months after the debut, Michael and Project Prodigy continue to make achievements. We got another honor a few weeks ago we are very excited about, Project Prodigy was selected by HotRod & Restoration (hotrodshow.com) to be their feature car at The 2006 PRI show. PRI is like SEMA for the peromance and racing industry. The big difference is there are probably only 20 cars on display in the entire show, so getting in PRI is difficult at best. And to be seeked out is mind boggling. HotRod & Restoration is also doing a full feature article on Michael, the car, the build and the shop in their Hot Rod Show magazine. Hot Rod Show is a trade magazine that covers the industry, so this is a true honor. Now we just have to try to get it back in show shape after being beat on and driven for a year! Cool thing is this show will appreciate the rode hard and hung up wet look, LOL!

As always, thanks for the accolades. Michael does not post, but he reads this stuff. peer support is important to him.

I first saw the Prodigy Camaro at the Year One Experience '06. It is one of the best put together customized P/T machines I have seen. Any pictures you see of the car simply do not do it justice.

If you ever get the opportunity to see it make sure you do.

Congrats to Michael, Frank and Prodigy Customs.

Thanks for catching that. Obviously I would rather have a feature but its a step in the right direction.

It was a killer story. Your son is pretty damn talanted Frank. And you're not so bad yourself. :D

Frank and Michael deserve all of the coverage and praise they get for their efforts. Top notch guys (and girl) at Prodigy.

Just read the article today, LOVED IT!! Actually told Jen to read the first part about Lisa taking Michael as a new born straight to the shop from the hospital...that kid didn't have a choice but to love cars!! ;)

Actually I truely enjoyed this story because my 2 year old son loves to 'work' in the shop with me, and I can only hope he continues to enjoy it and that we have a strong life long father/son relationship like you and Michael do! And guys don't forget about Lisa! She's a MAJOR part in all this as well...congrats to all at Camp Prodigy!!!
