i have a 67 mustang elenor clone gt500. i need to pick out wheels and tires for. i was looking into some 19s. the rim size gauge deal said i could go with a 19x8 and a 19x10 in the rear. any thoughts on that? anyway, i cant figure out what rim to go with. i was thinking like a 5 spoke design with a black center. im lost. i have about 3,000 to mess with maybe more. any imput is greatly thanked. thanks.. here is a pic of the car for the record.

No, not sure what 'street pricing' would be. Call Tim at Paradise Road Rod and Custom (one of our sponsors here) 317-541-9590 and tell him we sent you.

1. Love the car
2. like the rims that are on it
3. Don't you people sleep...posting at 1:00 am?

I can understand wanting to change it up a bit, but it does look great the way it sits. Maybe it is the camera angle but it appears to sit really high. If that is as low as it can get then a 18 or 19 inch rim will make it look a little lower because the rim itself will be closer to the fender lips. I assume those are 17's?

Wheels that I would like to see photo shoped if you were to change....The Forgelines like on Steve's car done in the same color(Bad Penny) Forgelines or Fikse like on Prodigy Customs 68 Camaro or DSE Test Car. (split 5 spoke)

I also like the style of the Forgelines on the Eternity Firebird but not in a chrome.

Just thoughts

Gunmetal centered Forgeline WC3's...

The darker centers would give the car a more modern look and set it apart from the other Elenore cars.

Then again I'm biased.. lol

Sorta like this (different model)

Would run you close to budget though..

the wheels might of photographed well. thier 17s and not in the best shape. the car now has the air-ride airbar in it and aftermarket front stub with shockwaves and rack and pinion. rims can always be changed, if the car ever gets sold im sure they will go with it.

Steve's Forgeline suggestion would look bitchin' on any car and those are very sweet rims but Bonspeed makes a spin off of the Shelby rim you have in various diameters that would make for a cool update and still look familiar.
Slow Nova is right, gotta change it up as there are getting to be a handful of Eleanor cars everywhere you go and a new set of shoes and an Air Bar would change it up a lot.
Just my $.02

Budnik flat lipped GTXs with gray powder coated centers would up date the car and keep close to the original theme. Gassers would probably work also.

see thats the thing, i don't think a multi spoke rim will work on the car. and im not so sure i want to do something that looks like it already has. i think a black center or even body color center rim would look really good on the car. if someone wants to chop a multi spoke rim on there feel free, or show me a pic of one with them. thanks

Damn with all the wheels you guys have access to I would think this decision should be a piece of cake? Does Bat-30 even care what wheels are on the car?

Good idea, I would go with the darker centers (body color) black seems to have been done too much already, like steve said it would give that more modern look. How does it sit now with air bar? Should be a hundred times better!!!

im thinking intros with black center and leaving the center of the etched spoke the color it is. it sits low.

Since your car has the "incorrect" edelbrock wheels, you could get phil at PS engineering to make you some in that diameter.

Or, you could go hard core and get some 3-piece wheels like these and have the centers powdercoated.
