Today I brougth her out for a little spin in the nearby industrial area. Had to do it before the snow comes. :D
It felt great to lay some stripes on the asphalt. Didn't drive it to much, open headers hurt my ears so I took it easy. It was cold +2 C (about 35F for you metrically challenged).
Gives me inspiration over the winter when the interiorwork will start.

Are you liking the LS motor or are you missing the big block?

Thank you guys.
I didn't drive it that much to give any comparison feedback between the bigblock and the LS1. I didn't want to take it out on the nearby highway with open headers and no mounted hood. Don't want the valvecovers to fly off
It feels alright and it responds well so I think it will be satisfying when the spring comes. This drive was more for a magazine that will do a story on my engineswap. To conclude the article they wanted drivingshots.
The one thing I know for sure is that my gasbill will be a lot shorter next summer. That counts for sure, especially with the gasprices we have here.

Thats sweet Jan! Tusan vad jag är avundsjuk. Får dock min motor i morgon! Har du kvar bb'n? Eller har du sålt den? Annars är jag intresserad vid ett vettigt pris.
Keep it up!

Congrats, Jan. I dream of the day I can once again drive my Camaro. Must be a good feeling to actually do it. Oh, and it was GREAT meeting you and the wife finally at SEMA.
