or similar cars. I'd imagine it's a 12" wide wheel. Does anyone know what back spacing it is. I want a deep dish but not too deep to where it looks stupid. It looks about centered so I'm thinking it's 12" wide with a 6" b.s. or close to it.
I can't remember the exact backspacing that was used on the Mule, I know there was 2 sets of wheels and each had a different dimension.
I went 18x12 with 6" of backspacing on mine and I'm happy with it, I'd do it that way again.

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking at 11" wide and am torn between 4" bs or 4-3/4" bs. Guess I'll sleep on it.

The current Mule wheels are 18 X 12.5" with a 6.375" or 6.5" b.s., depending on whom you believe.
Obviously your rear end width also figures into this.

Thanks again guys.
I think I've decided on 11" wide and 4.75" of backspace. I think 4" backspace would be too deep. I still have to do the rear end, so I'm not limited to my wheels.

a little off topic, but are we talking about deep tubs and backspacing with a stock width rear end.... I'm just starting my 69 Camaro project and still inthe planning stages......

The bs measurements mentioned above are for use with a narrowed rear end.

Yes, these would be measurements for a narrowed rear end and minni tubbed car (71 nova in this case). If a stock width rear was used you would need approx. a 7"-8" backspacing which would make the wheel have a very shallow lip on it. Idealy, if you are getting a new rear end or narrowing your stock one, purchase the wheels you want first, set them under the car where you want them, then measure for your rear end. That is alot easier than trying to find a wheel that will work with your existing rear end.

I am doing 18x12 (335/30x18) with 5.5" BS. This is also what was recommended by DSE.
