I got the wheels the other day. Boze forged, "mesh". WOW these things are nice, the pics do them no justice at all. It's getting close to going to body work and paint, hopefully by the end of next week. The tires on the wheels are not what I'm using, I'm going with Michelin Pilots 345/30-19 rear and 235/40-18 front. I just test fitted that rear tire tonight on the rim and it fits perfect. I liked the tread pattern way better on those rather than the supercars. Got the oil tank today from Rick's, looks great. Hopefully have some more updated pics with that mounted as well as a few other things soon. Stay tuned.

Dang and I thought my 255/35's looked skinny on the front. Why would you put a tire as wide as a 345/30 on the rear and then put a front runner like a 235 on the front?? On a more positive note, those wheels look killer

Those wheels look great, Jeff. They make the ZO6 calipers look absolutely massive.

Actually, I am using 255/35-18's up front. They are pretty much the biggest I can go up front. As for fitting the 345's, the car has dse mini tubs and quadra-link and they fit beautiful, good room all around. The front subframe is an original with dse coilover conversion and BRP front mount rack w/ speedway front swaybar. The car will sit a little lower than in the pics, I'm hoping to get it down below the edge of the rim. Although the headers are tucked up pretty tight, they will be my limiting factor as to how low I can get it. I wasn't planning on doing a cage, but after seeing Stielow's car I changed my mind. Just a simple 6 pt, like his, with removable rear cross bar. Can't wait to get it out of the fab shop and get started on the body work, should be by the end of the month. Post more pics that are worth checking out when I get some, see ya.

Looks great, Jeff. Do you have any bumpsteer data on the BRP rack?

Wheels look killer! What color is the car going to be?
I'll bet you run into steering issues first. Running the car that low with a 255 in front. The tire will rub on the front edge of the inner fender well "unless you've clearanced them". ;)

The car is going to be candy red with (for now) a carbon fiber hockey stripe and tail panel. When I say carbon fiber, I obviously mean painted to look like it. The guy painting it did some stripes on his car like that and it looks very cool. It is the same guy that painted Trush's Camaro. I'm not 100% doing that, but some kind of black on the car to bring out the black wheels. Also painting calipers, engine covers, air intake tube etc. body color. Yeah, as for the tires rubbing I'm basically going to get it down as much as I possibly can and still be drivable. I'll probably have it lower than "drivable" at Autorama if I make it there. Gotta look cool ya know.

Wow man!
This is looking good!
I'm happy to hear your 345's clear. I just sold my (completely gutted and no limits on tire size because of such) 69 coupe and got a 'vert instead. I was afraid of clearance issues with the DSE tubs but you make it sound good! How wide are your rear tires? Mine are 14.1 on a 13 inch rim (they are 20's tough).
I had them and kept them from the coupe project. I spoke with DSE about fitment but they have their reserves so real world data would be welcomed!
Also, i'm looking to buy a Z06 set up and Forgeline wheels. You seem to have no clearance issues with the wheels and calipers (which are thick) ...
BOZE are nice too!.
Definetely keep us posted...With more pics!

Very Nice!
Those Boze Mesh rims look GREAT! I've been looking at getting a set of Boze Black Satin Toxics' for my car.
Nothing like a nice set of wheels and tires to make a car come alive!

Lead.My rims are 11 1/2 wide which actually, I think, help the tires fit in the well. The overall width measurement of the tire mounted on the rim is 13". I don't think there's any way to fit a 13" wide rim with a 14" overall width tire. The 11 1/2 work great and the tire mounts and looks perfect, no issues whatsoever. If you are going to run the ZO6 brakes in the back with the ZO6 parking brake, The guy that is doing all my fab work can make a mount for the rears that mount everything very nicely. It was quite the job but now that he's done one, it shouldn't be a problem.

The wheels looks awesome. I am running a set of Boze Hi Octanes and I have been very happy with the build quality and the high level of customer service.
Wow! Those are great! And it will be red! Can't wait to see how that comes out, I like the blacked out wheels on a red car!

holy crap do they! looks sweet...what is the difference between these wheels and the pro touring wheels on Danica Patricks Camaro?normally the difference would be that the pro touring are 2 piece and the mesh are three piece, (ie) the bolts going around the outside of mine. however, when they widen them they can't make them in 3 piece, so the bolts are now just for looks. I actually wanted the bolts just for the looks anyway, I think it make's them look a lot better.
Jeff, The wheels look great.
