I need to move this car, built it for my Dad, and he does not have anytime to drive it / fix minor issues which come up on old cars - It needs carb tuning, has some type of electrcal drain, rear window handle which rolls down window has broken.... Other than that is is practically all new (the Wheels alone were $2900). Price is $17,500 firm as is or I am going to ship it back home and fix it myself next month.
1970 Chevelle Pro-Touring Wagon – Rust free California car, has build sheet, and parts receipts well over $20,000. Body is very straight, undercarriage is extremely clean and dry. Original interior parts are in great shape (headliner, dash, door panels), blue cloth recaros have been added and the rear seat has been recovered, autometer tach and 3 gauge cluster has been added.
Suspension/brakes: Global west upper and lower control arms up front with QA1 coilovers and Baer brakes, all new tie rods and steering components as well as a Hydroboost. Rear suspension has Global West Lowers, Edelbrock adjustable uppers, and bilstein shock with Baer discs in the rear. 12 bolt with brand new Eaton 3.55 Posi.
Engine/Trans/Exhaust: Everything fresh with less than 2k miles: Roller cam 383 with Vortec heads, Air gap manifold, 750 holley, and Hei. Art Carr 2004R with a BandM quicksilver shifter. Ceramic coated headers with 2.5”’ Flowmaster exhaust turned out behind the rear wheels. Edelbrock electric fuel pump. Be cool radiator with dual fans. Optima battery relocated to the rear storage area with a billet bracket.
Car is sitting on 18X8 and 18x10 Billet Magnum 500’s and BFG KDWs with less than 2k miles ($2900). Brand new stereo – Sony Deck with motorized face, 4 polk 6.5” speakers mounted in the doors, 2 eclipse amps and 2 JBL subs mounted in the rear storage area.
Original AC with COLD air. Sanden compressor with vintage air parts mated up to the factory suitcase and controls. A great setup that will freeze you out.
Has 4 T3 headlights and been rewired so lights get the juice they need.
Car recently driven from Austin TX to North Carolina with out issue. Will run 90-100 all day long at 2900 rpm with the AC blowing and the temp does not move. Handles great, hauls ass and you can put the kids and the dog in the back. $26,500. Car is now located in Hillsborough NC. I have tons of pics available, email me at [FONT=Times New Roman][email protected] (<A href="mailto:[email protected]) for additional pics.
Thanks, John
