Here Is one of the projects on the go at our shop that I think you guys might like. Custom front crossmember with a LS1 backed with a 6 speed retaining stock floor, tunnel and fire wall. In a 1969 Camaro.

Thank you, It took alot of measuring and thinking to pull it off. It is so much easier when you can just cut floor to make it fit.

He is going to put a Novi supercharger, intercooled with meth injection. All corvette accesories. He plans on making at the wheels 850 to 900 hp with a/c.

We are using stainless works headers. Very nice workmanship on them.

Many times I see guys posting about cutting the floor in a 69 to fit the T-56 , However I have done this a few times and have never had to cut one yet .

I had to raise my tunnel to fit my T56 simply because I used .5" lowering body mounts...never will I do that again!!

Hitman the car looks killer!!

We used stock height aluminum body mounts which helped. The problem we found was with stock steering and the corvette a/c is that you have to cut so much out of the original crossmember that there was nothing left.
