I haven't posted much lately mostly due to horrific headaches with my "high speed" cable provider...providing virtually no service most of the time. We have no other option but dial up here...so it has been painful..
Now...on to the story.
I have an opportunity to buy back my old 85 Vette. It was in an accident a year in a half ago (a fox body mustang t-boned it on the passenger side). The front frame is bent with damage to the right front suspension.
If I buy it back it will come sans engine/trans.
This is really ironic stuff for those of you that know the story behind my 69 Camaro and this Vette. The current owner is moving to Tennessee and needs to unload the car, so he called me first.
The car is really too far gone to save it considering what it is. I have not been exactly thrilled with the 9" in my Camaro and the front is basically stock less the steeroid rack.
So, now that I have set the stage, considering I would have the whole car to cut and chop...what am I looking at in terms of other parts/pieces needed to swap the suspension over????
This is the vette story, and pics at the bottom of what it looks like right now.
