I am getting ready to purchase a bunch of anvil carbon, but I’m hearing a lot of people say they are plagued with fitment issues. Given the cost I don’t want to purchase if this is the case. What’s everyone else’s experience with them? Is there a better company?

The pieces I've bought fit fine.

I used a lot of their Camaro parts on my 69 but it was quite a few years ago. They fit ok. For me their bigger issue is leadtime. They keep very few parts in stock and it can take six months or longer for the parts to get made and shipped. At least that was my experience. If you want to use their parts order them a year before you need them.

FWIW, I got a close out panel for the 69 Camaro last year. Fit perfectly.

What parts are you looking to buy? Their fenders, inner fenders, valance and bumpers fit pretty good. I’ve had a few deck lids that fit like crap because they were twisted. They also distort due to the trunk seal. I wouldn’t use their decklids. For a hood I used Ring Brothers. It was an awesome part.
I sold my Camaro and the second owner after me crashed it into a fence the first day he had it. He’s looking at many months to get replacement panels. Something to consider….

Well, I was considering everything that the racing stripes touch. Some of it is dependent upon if I change my paint scheme though. As of now my car is baby blue with white racing stripes. Part of me wants to leave the carbon exposed, but blue with black racing stripes isn't my cup of tea. Given that I may just do a few things and paint them entirely

I’ve got several pieces from them, and yes, there are fitment issues. Also, the quality on some parts leads a lot to be desired. The last part I got from them had numerous bubbles on the visible side of the part. I contacted them and they said that it was normal and within their accepted flaws! Only after I threatened to dispute the charge with my credit card company did they approve a return. Also, I was greatly disappointed to learn that the extreme wait times(sometimes 6 months) was due to their products being made in china. Needles to say, I won’t be purchasing anymore of their products!

I bought a trunk lid for my chevelle it fit fine ...my hood was another deal . They contacted me and told me they had issues with the batch after I bought it ... I fit it to another chevelle and they were right ... I decided to sell both and will be using ultra carbons parts moving forward . They are American made I believe they're in Washington...if not its Oregon

I put a few items from Anvil on my 2nd gen Camaro. The short spoiler fit well. The RS nose is terrible. Very warped, incomplete fill at the edges that I had to build up, mounting tabs were out of position and not consistent side to side.
