Hi everybody,

I wanted to give the latest update on progress of my Chevelle. The most exciting news is that we secured the engine. We're getting a brand new LS7 engine. I am so excited! 505 HP!!! We're also putting in a Viper-guts T-56 6-speed, as well as a Hotchkis TVS suspension upgrade.

Apparently, the body was in worse shape than I thought. The roof was not salvageable, so they had to get a donor car and graft on a new roof.

SEMA seems like a million years away, I can't wait!!!

Take care and thanks again to all who voted for me.

holy old post! :) Welcome to the site. This car was finished a year ago and was at SEMA. Neat deal and lucky guy to win all the work.
