I’ve been receiving PMs from brand new members responding to my wanted ads. They respond with hey this guy has what you’re looking for just clink on his email.
Is this becoming a problem?

If you hover on the link, does it provide a valid web address? Otherwise, it really sounds like spam or scam.

That's pretty much the definition of a scammer. Let me know who they are. We have systems in place to catch them, but it's still possible to get through. However I generally catch those before they even post or pm.

Here's a couple:

reneewalker
ducker18

These guys work harder, going through life trying to steal from people, than if they would just go get a real 9-5 job. I’m a mod over on LS1Tech, and it’s crazy over there how many scammers we have. And a Bot, or AI joins regularly. Those are fun.

You’re exactly right! If they would focus half of that energy they use to scam honest folk into a real job/business they would actually be successful!
