Around? That would be Shawn Willocks in a heavily modified Z06. No one could touch him. Fast & fun to watch.
Camaro Challenge: Kyle & Stacy Tucker's 69
Fastest Street Car (Drag): Jerry Balko took the trophy in his Street/Strip 1968 Camaro

Sadly I did not take Fuel out ... a wife, 2 kids and a long drive ahead prevented that . track opened at 8 , I did not get there till 10:30 and left by 12.
I wish I would have had time . I am sure it would have been a contender
I did drag race , It spins way too much ! A 2.3 60 ft does no good for a decent ET ! but still managed a 8.40 @ 90 MPH

Scott,
Steve Rupp has many pictures and some video too. Feel free to post whatever of them you like. There are so many different people with pictures, plenty to go around on all the boards. We are not hogging the pictures, we want to spread the word that our hobby is alive and well.
It was a blast guys, all THREE DAYS.

Bill, how was the BBQ?

The run thru the hills/bbq worked out great. My local guy that cooked the rump roasts knows his stuff so I knew the food would be good. I even introduced anyone that wanted to try it, some "corn squeezings".
We sent out 55 cars, in four groups on the tour. We all met up at a national park area and then split back up for the remainder of the tour. It was so cool to see 15 badass cars in my rear view mirror. You GOT to make the next one Stuart, even if you just fly in, Larry and Steve did that and I don't think you will hear any complaints out of them for not having their car to drive. Just so much going on at one time that you almost forget your car is not here. In fact, the Goat sat in the garage on Sunday because there was no driver for it.

We had a technical issue on Saturday, and did not run the drag strip, however on Sunday it turned a 65.5 second lap on the autocross which made it about number 9 I think of all the cars that ran. There are a couple quick fixes (read cheap) that I can do and probably get another second or so out of it. I am very happy with the way it did, considering it is so fresh. We only picked it up from Gary's shop Friday morning.

We will have video overload shortly, just trying to get them all in the can right now. The ones that are up now are just some quick stuff to wet everyone's whistle.

Thanks Bill!! Looks like Steveo's car works quite well, I guess all the changes to the subframe were worth it!!
So what's with all the East Coast stuff? I guess we need to get busy here in the NW and show you guys up!! :P

Thanks. Yeah, the car was real composed at 63 seconds. Very little incidence of front wheel lock-up and almost no smoke from the rear. The runs would be downright boring were it not for the possessed horn. Would have been more interesting at 63-flat or 62. We stopped running the car because gear oil was puking out of the Moser rear's vent hose and directly onto the left rear caliper. Obviously, I need to relocate the hose to the middle of the car somewhere, change the pads and check the fluid level.
