Thank you for adding me to the forum. This is our new 1970 Nova project. It has a Detroit Speed hydroformed front subframe and quadralink rear setup. I have 14 inch Baer front brakes with 6 piston calipers and 13 inch rotors on the rear with 4 piston calipers. I’m kicking around doing manual brakes to keep the firewall clean and not have to worry about vacuum and a big cam. The car will have a stroked big block Chevy and Tremec 5 speed.

Great looking project! The car looks fantastic so far. I’m running the same Baer brake setup on my my 68 Camaro with their Remaster in 15/16’s and I love my manual brakes. I, too, like the no clutter look and don’t have any problems with it on track days. The only thing I would do differently is getting the full floater rear end setup…expensive, but I now see the value in it. Keep posting updates and good luck!

Love the project. Love the Big Block.
Are your wheels what I see in the background?
What color exterior?
Please keep us posted.

Those black Forgeline wheels came with the car when I purchased it. I did sell those recently. The backspacing on them was a little off. We could’ve made them work but I’m wanting to go another style. I’m not 100% sure on my color, I’ve been having a few renderings done to help make up my mind.

Thanks for the advice on the brakes, I’ve made up my mind to go manual like you suggested. I just looked through your Camaro build thread. That is one impressive build!
