Every part of theirs I've used has been excellent. I have not used their mirrors, but would expect the same.

Good to know, my experience with Anvil products in the past has not been good, thankfully they accepted a return without question. Thus the reason for reaching out for a review of this particular item.
Thanks again

I had to "tweek" mine a lot to get them to fit correctly. You can read about my install on Camaros.net

I would be scared off by the preorder status. That could mean waiting 6 months or more.

Good to hear things have improved. It’s been a while sinc I built my Camaro with a lot of Anvil parts.

Yes, they do stay put. i'm not impressed with the quality of the passenger side glass, everything looks a little over magnified and distorted but, it works. Thinking of going back with the original glass on that side.

Thanks, again I appreciate the details
So for $279 plus shipping I can get a pair of mirrors to modify and I'll only use the drivers sid and oh ya, it might take 6 months or more to get............ I'm in!!
I ended up copying Stielow's design for my "1st gen" Anvil mirrors and turned out great:

thanks again!!
b/c I had the mirror/glass that fit already but not the 2nd gen mirror components I ended up getting these mirrors just for the backing and ball joint:

then I used scrap aluminum to make the bracket and base plate and epoxied the glass and aluminum base plate.
