Ricks tank, stainless, I'm kinda up in the air, paint it semi gloss black, or leave it natural stainless steel and use Sheila Shine on it??

Shiela Shine food grade stainless cleaner,

Great thing is I'm in Florida land of humidity, so If I don't paint it, how fast will it corrode??

Dilemma's ideas, thoughts, thanks

I live in Jacksonville and have no issues with the stainless Ricks tank. The car is garaged most of the time. I do clean it with stainless cleaner usually once a year. No corrosion issues since 2014.

Good to know,

What straps are you using?

304 SS will take a long time to corrode.
I've not seen one that couldn't be brought back to new. Some scotchbrite will usually do the trick.

The ones that came with them.

This is very interesting?

I wonder if mine came with straps, I'll have to look!

Did you put anything (rubber) between the tank and strap?

No, just installed them. No issues.

I run a stainless tank, exhaust, and a bunch of accessories. My favorite way to renew stainless is simply using maroon scotchbrite. Wipe in straight lines.
