I like number 3. It emphasizes the body lines nicely.

1A and then 3. 3 needs a little more snazzy pinstripping and it would be the #1 pick.

The last one for sure....it's at least a little different, and as much as I like the guy the two tone is just to Chip Foose looking...

I would go with #6. It looks great. Will probably cost less and it will not go out of style so quickly.

Hey thanks for all the great comments every one. Still not sure but I am leaning toward the first one but with a light blue stripe instead of the dark blue. I think the actual silver will be some what lighter then the picture is showing. Chip who? Two tone cars have been around way before Mr. Foose was doing it. Its just that he makes it look do darn good when he does it  :hail:

I go with what Speedster said: 1B

However, you need to change the rims. Multi-spoke rims look great on Firebirds.

MY two cents....

I had a very hard time picking out rims. At first (3 years ago) when I started this project I wanted crager SS rims but later I swore i would never buy the 5 spoke style because at least around here EVER OTHER car had them. I looked for like 2 years and could not find anything I liked better. I just do not like most of the Muli-spoke rims so I ended up with Coddinton JYD rims. One nice thing about rims though is they come off pretty easy if I want a change later.

I liked #1A and #6. As for wheels, why not go w/ a 17 or 18 inch version of the original Pontiac rim from Wheel Vintiques.

Here a few of the latest. No its not a 4X4 I still need some major work on the stance. I hope to get it back in the heated shop next week ( high of -1 this week end here ) and continue to put it back together and figure out what i am going to to about the stance.

Looking really great!

I have to say the tailights on the early firebirds are one of my favorite styles of all time.

Make sure you post some pics when you get your stance right. Would love to see how it looks.

Here are two update pictures of the firebird. I went back to a factory type 400 hood and lowered the car a little. Still have some final paint issues to address and some wiring and interior to finish and it will be on the road again. Well winter is on the way so most likely it will not be on the road next spring. So I have all winter to fine tune it.
