6" or 8" shift handle

trying to decide between the 6" and 8" shifter handle for my 68 camaro t-56 magnum. what do you you guys like? car will have no console and i have the bowler bezel and boot.

Would depend on shifter to seat distance, driver and seat height, what's comfortable for you, etc. Seems most the ones I see are 8", 6" is fairly short. Seems like you could mock one up fairly easily just to see where the ball would sit.
