Hello all...Im toying with the idea of a trunk mounted fuel cell sitting on the floor, not with the floor cut out.
If anyone is running one, what size did you fit?

I suggest you make your own like I did. It fits in the well of the trunk without any sheet-metal removal. My tank holds 26 gallons of fuel. Sorry for the sideways pictures.

If you go this route, make sure you have a complete closeout panel between the trunk and cabin. I personally get a little squeamish when I look at power accessories and batteries right next to a fuel cell.
In the performance world, the tank up in the trunk also places all the weight at that much higher of center of gravity

The tank in my car does not have a vented cap. It is vented to the outside of the car through tubing that exits behind the bumper. The total height of the tank is less than 6'' high and the car sits low so I am not concerned with the center of gravity. The bracing behind the rear seat is completely sealed of with welded in panels. The tank is fabricated with 3/16'' aluminum and is totally baffled. I feel it is safer than a sheet metal tank hanging under the car.

My comments were not by any way a dig on your vehicle. They were merely points to think about in the discussion. I am glad you detailed your installation further. Through your pictures and description it looks like it is a very well thought out and executed installation.
