Is it possible to replace trunk drop offs on 69 camaro without removing quarter panel?

It is but it will take some time and patience. If they are not completely shot it might be easier to section in pieces of the replacement. Hopefully the car is not in final paint.

Thanks Don. Just got car blasted and found this issue. Quarters are good. I will try to section them as you stated if possible.

Using an air file to grind away the spot welds will avoid trying to drill them out where access is limited. Doesn’t damage the panel you are keeping either.

IF used properly. It is very easy for beginners to do it wrong and end up with a divot in the bottom panel. It needs to be done carefully.

I watch the color. When it turns blue the metal is paper thin.

Hey Curtis,
I will start a project thread soon. Your car is looking great and Chris did an awesome job cleaning up engine bay.
