I have a 1973 camaro and am looking to put a staggered set of wheels on it. I want to put 18x8 on the front and 18x9.5 on the back. How big of tires on the front and rear can I run without modification ?

Welcome to the site. 245/40 up front on an 8" wheel and 275/35 rear works great. I've seen 275's up front but there's usually some amount of rubbing, especially if the car is lowered.

I'm running 245/40/18s on the front and 275/40/18s on the rear with 8 and 9.5 rims. No fender rolling or rubbing. I think there are pictures in the build thread still.
I may put the 9.5s on the front but I'll have to go lower profile than a 40. It will rub the front of the inner fender otherwise.
