I bought a Heidts 4 link rear suspension for my 69 Camaro. The car currently has a 10 bolt which measures 60.25”. I also have a 12 bolt out of an early Nova that measures 57.75”, my question is will the 12 bolt mount on the 4 link without any fitment problems?
I measured the rear wheels to the inside frame and it doesn’t look like there would be any problems, in fact it might let me mount wider wheels.

That is interesting. I thought the 1st gen Camaros were the same as the 2nd gen Novas in terms of driveline and chassis dimensions. Maybe the Camaro track width is wider?

Is the backspace on your wheels going to be a problem with a narrower rear axle?

I’m thinking not since it only moves the wheel in 1.25” in and wheel spacers can take up some of that space

that 12 Bolt must have been Narrowed at some point. It should work, but I don't know the attachment points of the Heidts kit

No, this 12 bolt is off of a early Nova, very rear from what I’m told. I’ll be checking with Heidts to confirm if it will work before I get started other wise I’ll have to sell either the kit or the 4 link
