Anybody use Al Knoch dash pads in their 1st gen Camaro's? Haven't heard many positive comments on TMI.

I tried one on my 68 Camaro.
I have literally tried four different dash pads.
Only one actually fit, and so here goes:

I sent my old dash pad to JUST DASHES at Van Nuys. CA
818-780-9005
I had to TIG weld rust holes on the “horns” and replaced the snap pins on both ends with 5/16”-18 studs so I could control crush on the ends by adjusting nylock nuts on the backside.
JUST DASHES replaced all foam and wrapped in a vacuum process vinyl.
I spent twice as much on dash pads that would never fit.
So.., my opinion is JUST DASHES.
(my experience is dated by about eight years so take it as such)

I bought an OER from Summit and as soon as I installed it, it blistered up while sitting in my air conditioned shop. Summit took it back and sent me another one. When the second one arrived I installed it after two days in my same shop, that one blistered up. Summit said they would have to talk to OER before they sent another one. Summit told me that the ONLY way that could happen is if it got too hot.... Then He said I see you live in Arizona.... I saw this was going nowhere. I told Summit thanks for your help, and bought an AL Knoch pad and when it came I was very happy, much higher quality than OER and its been installed for a two summers now and I still live in Arizona... I like it. I have to say, I was shocked at the price and lead time for Just Dashes to repair my original dash pad.
