I have been harping at Jody to get his Chevelle built for at least a year but he keeps on putting it off because I am guessing because his income isn't what it used to be there is always some other priority that eats up his money. I know there are many sponsors-vendors who have said they want to help out with product etc but Jody won't ask anyone for anything so this is my attempt to force the issue and kind of get things started. He's much too proud to ask for anything yet he will do anything for anyone. He has the car, he has the painter but he doesn't have the parts. I'm asking you sponsors out there to chime in and help get this started. Jody won't come to you so please force the issue on him. Some encouragement in this thread from other members would go a long way. Merry XMAS everyone.

I agree. Jodys procharged camaro was killer. I copied that setup years ago. Let’s see what he can build with a new list of parts.

I have had the pleasure of being friends with Jody for quite a few years now. He is always the first one to help others but NEVER asks for help. For those that know him, you can attest to this. Look at what he has helped create here with Lateral G and what it has evolved to today. The friendships that have evolved are nothing short of amazing. I for one, am very grateful!

I would like to up the ante on this and pay it forward to Jody. I would like to start a donation campaign for him. Even the smallest donation can add up to a lot to get his project jump started. I will provide more details later on which direction I decide to go. I don't like go fund me because of the fees but I know it's probably the easiest. More to follow.......

***UPDATE 12/26***
I have created 2 ways to donate for Jody's Project.

Venmo is @Jodys_Chevelle

And also for those who use PayPal [email protected]

Once again... Jody has done so much for all of us creating our own little niche over here with Lateral G. Every little bit will help pay it forward.

Thanks again

Jody is as fine a man and friend as I know. He’s given a great deal to keep lateral-g the leading pro touring site on the net.

I concur with what Brent stated. To add to this, Jody has always been there for me and others on countless occasions. He truly is a great friend/mentor/car enthusiast, etc, etc. I’m game for whatever it takes to get this campaign rolling :drive:

I agree, he should be #memberhauled and #sponsorhauled...especially now at his advanced age!

:thankyou:

Heard this more than once...

‘The best way to make your dreams come true?

Help make someone else’s dream come true.’

Very freeing imho...

I think this is a great idea.

This site has introduced me to some of the best people and I think we should help Jody simply because of what he as done for us.

I don't have many parts left but I would be more then willing to send Jody some money for the Car Fund.

Uhhhh....Jodie, looks like its 100 to 1 bro. You're backed into a corner with no way out. So, go ahead and officially announce this project and give it, its just due.
