Averaged 103mph, including gas stops. Freaking wow.
If I could only tow a trailer that fast... would make our annual road trips to national parks a lot more fun.

Co-owner of AMS did the run. Car made a little over 700 rwhp and had a massive fuel tank (Factory 21 gallon + 46 Gallon secondary tank) in it to cut down on stops.
Edited to include a nice little breakdown of the run

So was Alex Roy overcautious several years ago by waiting a year for all of the statutes of limitations to expire before talking about it or are these guys opening themselves up to legal trouble by talking about it so soon?
Not a lawyer but I would think the very documentation they use to prove they did it could be used against them.
That said, it’s an awesome adventure.

The other guy was being overcautios. Nothing that can be done after the fact.

I don’t know one way or the other, but I do know of a guy who posted an in car video of himself driving his super car up a little country road in Germany, at like 175-180 mphish, and got arrested for the video proof. Basically threw the evidence and admission up on social media and went to the pokey for it.

Through the vast connections in acquiring such a feat, one may have many contacts to "plow the road" per say. That helped.
